About Us and our Items

What is the background of Dose of Luxe?
Dose of Luxe was started with our owner’s passion and love for high end luxury designer handbags. She quickly discovered the high quality of items that could be found at a fraction of retail prices. However, there is a downside to the preloved luxury designer handbag business – FAKES (knockoffs, replicas…. or whatever you want to call these monstrosities). We cannot state how much we despise fakes. Our owner started selling her own collection to make room for new additions and quickly built up a clientele base that knew her items were high quality and guaranteed to be authentic. Some business and technical expertise was added in and a short amount of time Dose of Luxe was born.

Are our items authentic?
All of our items are guaranteed 100% authentic.

What conditions are our items?
As the majority of our items are preloved, conditions vary. We want you to be 100% pleased with your purchase so we make every effort to list and provide photos of all known defects or flaws. Please review item’s description and photos for details.

What is all included with our items?
It varies from item to item. Some items include only the item, others may include receipt, box, dust bag, etc… Please see item’s description for details

Do we have a showroom where customers can shop in person?
We are an online retailer only. We put all of our focus and efforts in our online store in order to give our customers the best experience possible.

Payment Methods

What payment methods do we accept?
All of our payments are processed through PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account or do not want to use your PayPal account - No worries. Check out as a PayPal guest and pay with any major credit card.

Do we offer installment plans or financing?
We do offer installment plans on select items. Items that we do offer installment plans on will be marked as such.

We offer free U.S. domestic shipping on all of our items. No hidden fees.

Sell/Consign Your Items

Do we buy or consign items?
We buy and consign items. Once you submit an item for a quote, we will provide you with 4 options: 2 options selling your item to us directly and 2 options for consigning your item with us.

What selling/consigning options do we offer?
We offer four different selling/consigning options. Sell to us for immediate payment, sell to us for immediate store credit, consign with us for payment after we sell your item, or consign with us for store credit after we sell your item.

What items do we buy/consign?
Currently we buy/consign authentic designer bags. Sorry, we currently are not buying or consigning clothing or jewelry.

No we do not offer item for item trades. However, we do offer options to buy/consign your items and the proceeds can be applied toward your next purchase with us.
